Official 2011/2012 College Football thread

What the hell is going on with all the conferences? I just read on ESPN that Pitt, Syracuse, Rutgers and UConn are all being considered for a move to the ACC. Iowa State and Baylor are looking at the Big East in case the Big 12 falls apart, and apparently the SEC has expressed an interest in adding WVU sometime in the future when they expand to 14 teams  Geez man, I can't keep track of this.

Roll Tide!
Yes way to many moves being talked about in the conferences but lets move on to the good talk....How bout them college games this weekend, I think I took a nap during the best one because I have no clue how Clemson came back on Auburn. They were down 21-6 and came back to win 38-24. Two most interesting games of Sat were the florida games FSU vs Okla....Great game and who caught that hit, they popped that guys head like a grape in the end zone. Looked a bit dirty but got knocked out! Then the Tenn vs FLA game....them gators may of dominated the scoreboard but them volunteers were beating the on the field. I never seen that many flags in a game before. I'm willing to bit there was more yardage gain in penalties than ever b4. Very interesting game.

We start are real season next week, should be a great game against arkansas (then the gators right after)

Hey, my Eers played a pretty good game against the now-#1 team in the nation. QB Geno Smith set a school record for passing yards in a single game, and they had a decent rally going in the 3rd quarter. What can ya do.

I see it differently.....What you consider a good rally, I consider a bad quarter for LSU:shrug: Not a fan of either team (but a fan of the SEC)....

Florida ain't Ar-Kansas. Will be close. 21-17 Bama.

Your not working with me.....trying to stir the pot  I'm expecting a good game, but not that close of one....I'm figuring we should win by 2 TDs, Arkansas we could of beat worst but we pretty much burned the entire 4th qrt just running the ball with no intentions on scoring. Think about on the bright side you get our sloppy seconds the following week. :D

Agree'n with me is no fun....

I don't like to get all into it. I know my opinion on it, and I'll hold to it. I don't know how UF is going to do because we haven't played a good enough team. I really doubt it will be a 2TD win for Bama, I see it more how CO does. I hope UF is on the winning end of that score, but I'm not going to predict anything. I haven't seen enough of Bama, nor a good enough team against UF to really choose either one to win at this point.

My hope is you two beat each other up for 4 quarters then go into quadruple overtime and end in a tie. Sloppy seconds indeed.

BAMA vs Gators WILL be the game to watch but I am also eager to watch the Clemson game. They have been a force to be reckoned with which scares my wife (Gamecock fan). Lets face it Spurrier needs to ditch Garcia..4 interceptions in last weeks game! Thank goodness they have Latimore.

Wish we were playing the COCKS this year....I need that payback:nice:
ROLL TIDE!!!
