I just don't get it.

OHH! well that's quite different then.....Nevermind
This, I have see before and it's definitely a step up from slapping that shiny new wheel onto the old clutter that came with the car. There's a dude that lives around here that actually took the time to two tone the drum. He did powerdercoat chrome on the face of the drum and black on the rest. Does it fool anyone into thinking it's disk? No. That wasn't his intent. His intent was to make it look squared away and he definitely achieved that. :nice:

I agree, I am in the process of going through my front & rear suspension. Replacing and cleaning everything. One question though, what can I use to make the wheel wells black again? I've heard of people using bed liner stuff. I just want it to look nice and durable. Post pics if you got them

No pics (I never thought to take any) but yes... you can clean the crap out of it, degrease it (I used bug/tar remover then dish soap and water) then sprayed it with undercoating after it dried.

The entire underside of my car is painted in that bedliner junk. Unlike undercoating, it's hard, solvent resistant and leaves a textured surface that wipes clean.
