Where are mustangs built?

The final assembly plant is Flat Rock, Michigan.

The parts themselves are from all over. Something like 65% or so are US/Canadian sourced parts, meaning 35% are from somewhere else. And it changes a little every year.

The old V6 came from Germany. The old automatic came from France. The old 4.6L and 5 speed Tremec both came from America. The new V6 and new V8 both come from America, as does the new 6-speed auto. The new 6-speed manual came from China (and it shows).

What he said. At least it's assembled in America.

Part of the reason I wonder is the fact that the prices of mustangs have not changed to much brand new but theyhave better power and economy via technology. You ever wonder if american cars will fully be made in America if people understand profit and disregard greed as a bad thing. It's the right to the American dream...greed is. and i particularly agree somewhat with it. In order for things to be made in america again people in fact to to take less money....and we will have more efficient cars built on our own land.

The problem is that the corporation only want their profits to increase, not decrease, the only one that will take less money is the worker. Don't ruin your own future by telling people to take lower wages.

Yeah... I'm pretty sure the window sticker showed my '11 GT is made from 65% North American content (North America is not exactly the US).

My 08 Tundra has 80% North American content...

Go figure.
