Is it possible to run a 1 inch phenolic spacer and 1/2 spacer for clearance???

P.S> When you had the throttle bracket raised while having the tall v/c'ers on, Did you have any "binding" problems with throttle cable, Tranny or cruise control???

You bet! I hope that little bracket mod helps you too. I actually had to modify that bracket to clear the Cobra EFI valve covers I had on there with the GT40 intake and no spacer back in 1995.

Funny thing is that, I ran these 3 3/4 tall valve covers with my old COBRA plenum and the 1 inch spacer with ZERO ISSUES!!!! But the GT40 TUBULAR is a PITA!!!!!!!!! Looks great, But so many damn mods to make work. And if i wasnt running the rocker girdle, i would leave the regualr COBRA EFI v/c's on and call it a day!
Liek my friend says earlier, so much money in the motor, and everything else and its a damn $2 bracket bracket your balls! hahahaa

Quick question, What did you do to clear the PCV valve hose line and vacumm fitting on driverside valve cover, I am having clearance issues........... The fitting is hitting the driver side V/C!!!!!!!!!!!!

My PVC valve on the d.s. side valve cover had the L shaped fitting on top. My hose went from that to underside vaccume ports of the GT40 upper. With the 1 in. spacer I did not have any clearance issues w/ the PVC.

Im so lost right now, Larry! You added an addition PCV valve on the driverside V/C ??? How did this fit under the tight fitting GT40 Tubular plenum?????? Can you please explain what exactly you did to make it work.

Because right now, I have NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO space between upper plenum and drivers side valve cover. My "L" shaped brass fitting 3/8 NPT fitting that goes to the underside of the plenum (going from plenum to PCV valve in lower mani) is hitting the driver side v/c.........

and when you say underside port of the GT40 plenum, do you mean- The vacuum port in front (facing the radiator) of the port that has the vac tree w brake booster, FP and EGR????
