Cricket Sound

There is a continuous cricket sounding noise coming from my 97 mustang. When I apply slight pressure to the clutch it goes away. Any thoughts on what this could be.

Throwout bearing. My '02 does the same thing. I just live with it. Just be sure to put a little pressure on it when the pretty girls pull up next to you.

lol, Its not real loud yet...Is the Throwout bearing hard to replace?

it's the bearing that puts pressure on the clutch so yeah, pretty difficult to replace. Have to drop the tranny or pull the motor.
