Cross drilled and/or slotted rotor are overrated in my opinion. For the price especially it's not going to do much for you other than look cool. The most effective brake upgrades for the money are going to be pad choice and brake fluid. I use the stock rotors for track events and they work fine with the right pad. Hawk Blues in my case but I wouldn't run these on the street. I run Porterfield R4S's on the street and they perform great and were even fine for the track when I wasn't an advanced driver. I use Motul RBF 600 fluid which helps with the heat on track but I also have brake ducts which are not necessary for a street car. You can doe braided lines too, which I've done, but really saw no gains from this.
Brake feel performance isn't the best I've ever had from cars I've owned but it isn't bad, especially once I got used to the braking characteristics. If I had the money, sure I would step up to big brakes but I find what I have now more than adequate.
