What is the best suspension to put on a 1989 convertible GT 5.0? The stock suspension is a little lower in the back than the front, so it doesn't look just right. It should be a little higher in the back.

Sounds like you should check the front to make sure nothing has been changed, e.g. coil over springs, and if not just replace the springs in the rear with Factory springs. These cars sat level from the factory. You could also try some thicker spring isolators in the rear to space it up some. Maybe the rear springs were cut (or heated) somewhere along the way, and the spring iso's would make that up.

poly spring isolators in the back. you can buy then in different thicknesses iirc. The stock rubber ones pancake over time.
Ok, I just ordered the spring isolators from energy suspension, and now I am looking at the Eibach Pro System Plus suspension kit from CJ Pony Parts. Is anyone familiar with this kit? Is it worth the money?

Forget the pro system. Make sure the bushings are in good order, and then get an eibach pro kit springs and tockico struts and i think that will make you pretty happy
