I am interested in getting a mass air meter from a 94-95 Mustang to replace my OE 55mm meter, I have been told that instead of using an adapter you can just cut off the mounting flange and it will slip on, I am wondering if someone else has done this if they could tell me the best way to cut the flange off.......hacksaw, die-grinder with cut off wheel, or some other way. If you have pictures that would be helpful also. Any problems you have ran into that I might avoid? I have a 96 Explorer gt40 motor with Mustang cam that was just put together and I am trying to get the most power from it I can WITHOUT different heads, cam, turbo, supercharger, nitrous, or anything else. Just want to know about the mass air swap. Thanks!!
going to let it sit overnight and look at it tomorrow
