Unless you have a car that was, or is a 4 cylinder engine Mustang, you already have an 8.8 rear end. The 87 and later 5.0 engine Mustangs came with an 8.8 Track-Loc rear axle as standard equipment.Going to swap a 7.5 rear in my 88 hatchback to an 8.8. Ahem,....it's not a "posi".Finally got the rear,3.73 gears and its a posi.Didnt come with drums or brakes,so I'll be looking for some soon.
