Build Thread The Hoopty Chronicles - New House, New garage, New Car?

That’s what bugs me about MS. There’s so much info out there that all says different things. The manual says use VR+/- and ground (3 wire). The guy that sold me the cam sync says use VREF and SGD for my +/- leads. I find info that supports both. So maybe it doesn’t matter?!

For what it’s worth, I’ve got the cam sync going to VREF and SGD, signal to VR2

I’ll give it all a try. If it starts on the first go, I’m buying a Lotto ticket
Ok sounds right, 3 wire will be a hall effect sensor. Needs 12v or 5v input gnd and signal out to vr2. Looks like your good to go, if you have troubles with cam sync we will need to add a pot resistor to r39 and tune it in.

The thing I find with megasquirt is that I'll have some question where multiple answers are supported (similar to yours), then eventually after months of looking through other parts of the system or doing other research, the answer kind of just becomes obvious to me. It's like if you look at a sentence in chinese long enough, you'll eventually understand it. Lol

Coatings by Coates killing it as usual

Nice looking parts! I really like the valve covers.
Thank you! I’m thrilled. They’re also going back, we are going to do some more stuff to them, we just needed to set them on the engine to make sure the rest of the plan was going to look alright. Intake is getting done as well.
