Has anyone used the rotors from an LMR 5 lug conversion kit?

On my last foxbody I used LMR’s brake drums, the brake drums were out of round out of the box. I wasn’t impressed. When I did my first 5 lug conversion, I used the complete spindle, hub, rotor and caliper assemblies from an SN95 Mustang and it worked out perfectly. If the LMR rotors are decent it would save me the extra effort required with the SN95. Any thoughts on using the LMR rotors?

Yeah all they are is Lincoln mark 7 rotors . You’re limited in wheel selection because most center caps won’t fit with the dust cap.

No brake upgrade either at that point . I’d do the sn95 stuff and the brake upgrade personally

No benefit with LMR other than 5 lug. Wheel selection will suck because of the center dust cap.( like mentioned ). 94- 95 Sn95 is the way to go.

I'd suggest reading through this tread.

Sounds like you are about to go down the same road. You could save some money doing it this way.

I’m fine with the extra work - I’d rather do it right once and sounds like for the 5 lug effort doing the SN95 is the way to go.

The LMR kit seems complete, do you have experience with it?
You don’t want the basic kit . It doesn’t give you the brake upgrade . You don’t want the spindles they give you. You want 94-95 specific spindles . Read that thread for a few hundred less you get all the parts needed and upgraded stuff too .

Great info! After digging through the internet and the answer brings me back here! :) :hail: .
I will also hit up a few pick a part and try to find 94/95 spindles.
They are out there.. I just found a 94 in my local wrecking yard and bought the set for $70..
