I've been a member of StangNet off an on for the past 15 years or so.

The first Mustang in our family was a 2001 Bullitt, Dark Highland Green #265. My husband owned that for a couple of years.

My first Mustang, I got a few months after we got the Bullitt, was a 2001 Mustang GT convertible, Mineral Gray (hence the MineralMan username). Over a few years, I recreated the look of what a Mach 1 convertible would have looked like, with a few additional touches. I dubbed her the Shaker GT. This is what she looked like when I got rid of her.

After a few years without a Mustang convertible, I jumped back in with a 2006 Performance White GT convertible. I recreated the look of the 2010 Hurst Pace car convertible with this one, and this is what she looked like when I sold her about 4 years ago.

All of these have been daily drivers. I've been itching for a project car, something to restore, something to take to the track for autocross, and the opportunity came along to purchase another Mustang. Back to the Bullitt that we owned until 2006, it was sold to my dad who used it as his daily for about 6 years. When he got his Challenger SRT392, he sold it to my younger brother who has used it off and on as a daily for the past 7 years. The opportunity to buy it back came up, so I bought it and had it shipped from Louisiana back to San Diego. Here she is after her first bath this past weekend.

She's had a bit of a rough life being a daily driver for a good solid 15 years. I will be starting a build thread to document her restoration process, including all her current battle scars. I am looking forward to the process of getting her back to pristine condition.

And here is my current daily driver, even though not Mustang related. 2006 Dodge Magnum SRT8, just a couple clicks shy of 200K miles on her.
