You sure you tightened the ring all the way? (don’t ask how I know what happens when you don’t).

A little oil on the o ring and the retaining ring helps alot.

I used a brass drift on the ring and hit that with a hammer so no sparks.
You could also use a dead blow hammer .

Do any of you guys have any ideas on polishing windshield glass. Rubbing compound, wax, ect. Mine is a little pitted. Glass cooktop cleaner works but I want to cut more

I just used the bottom of the cooktop cleaner that I had. and it looks like a new window. It dried too fast so tomorrow I'm going to get more. Time for the buffing wheel. I got the feeling all the windows are going to get it.

I would think it will throw codes as the computer tries to see where the throttle is....... not sure about drivability.

Light on. Drove the same pretty much on the way. A little less response, but popped it in. All is good. Ready for Saturday night Florida strip. Running very well, but I want to do a cylinder balance test. 5L5 has me freaked out that I am missing a cylinder. The car rides a little like it has a cam, but it does not. I have been looking for vac leaks
