I'd forgotten that you eliminated the Power Steering.The aluminum tube isn't supposed to be delivered until Wednesday, but I got most of it thrown back together and got a more accurate measurement for the tube. I also had to order a new belt, the one I had with the original brackets is too short. So when those finally arrive all I should need to do is cut the tube to length, install it, reinstall the radiator and hoses, install the new belt, fill it with coolant, then fire it up.
Finally got the Cobra put back together. I added what I had for antifreeze and it turns out I was short, so I'll need to pick up more. But I was able to fire it up for a couple minutes and there's no more belt issues. 
I do have a concern though. The alternator is high enough now that it interferes with the upper radiator hose. I'll have to do some shopping and figure out if there's a molded hose that would work. If not, maybe a flex hose could be made to work?

Question:
Is that water pump turning in the correct direction with that setup? That WP pulley was made for the backside of the belt. Is your pump a pos rotation?

You can always use a combination of metal (stainless maybe) pipe and hose.
Yes, it is a standard rotation water pump.
I can't say with 100% certainty since it isn't in my purchase history, but I believe this is the pump I'm running.
Yeah, I started some searching last night after posting. I think this is exactly what I'll do. I've already placed this in my cart, just need to find a couple suitable 90* hoses.
My thoughts are to run a 90 from the radiator toward the center of the car, then the aluminum tube to point toward the thermostat housing, then another 90* hose down to finish it off. The only thing I'm not certain of or planned out yet is if that tube will need supported or restrained in some way. I don't think there's any danger of it flopping around enough to interfere with anything, so I figured I'd cross that bridge if I come to it.
And they're ordered. 
As you can see, I also ordered a new throttle body for my vert. I've been sitting on it for a while and added it to get free shipping. I figured I'd be getting it anyway, so if I'm going to have to spend the money anyway, I may as well pick it up now. It'll end up just getting thrown in the pile of parts that I've already accumulated.

It might be a solution if/when I replace the radiator, but I didn't search for one since my radiator is still doing the job. I figure this is probably the most cost effective route for now.
It'll definitely be a solution if I ever get around to ordering this.....

It beats the Paxton in the WOW factor as far as looks go. But it's more expensive and requires me to either lose the hood or cut it even more again. I like the looks of the car the way it is now though....

Got a jump on the upper hose replacement. Still waiting for the aluminum tube, it's supposed to arrive later today sometime. But this should show how much the alternator's new position interfered with the hose and how it's going to be routed now. I think it'll work just fine.... 
Finished the hose replacement today, then moved it into my carport alongside the vert.
There appeared to be a small leak coming from the mounting bolt on the right side of the engine, but there was no trail when I moved the car. I guess I'll have to keep an eye on that location to see if it's sealed itself up or if I'll have to tear back into it again.

Didn't specify, did I?
One of the long mounting bolts for the water pump. It's also one that I had to replace with an even longer bolt for the new alternator bracket.
