Oil cooler delete 4v 4.6 1999 cobra mustang

Hello,

I have a 99 cobra and i got the on3 coolant crossover delete which relocated the thermostat to the upper radiator hose.

I deleted the oil cooler because it was leaking and I replaced it with a gt oil filter housing but now I am having issues because the stock lower radiator hose for GTs isnt long enough to go from the housing to the lower radiator.

This is causing my car to leak coolant its like 1 inch too short and I even got a longer gt lower radiator hose off rockauto which is a couple inches longer than stock

Anyone have any experience with this ?

I must be missing something...

Change the hose. Get one that fits even if it's not pre-formed.

If you have a decent parts store with decent employees they will probly let you take a look at all the hoses they have hanging. Take your old one with you and find one that will work for you. Boom! Problem solved.
