Well, it looks like I've decided to go all in on this convertible. Have I mentioned that I'm not a convertible guy? LoL.

The car has 37k original "hard" miles. I say that because it came from New York and appears to have lived a hard life.

The rear brakes have a disc brake conversion. So I just ordered the front sve front brake kit from LMR. I also have a steeda strut tower brace and maximum motorsports subframe connectors that will be getting installed this year. Also ordered a SVE aluminum driveshaft.

I recently contacted Maximum Motorsports for advice on suspension upgrades. I want this car to ride and handle better. I'll attach the list of parts they put together for me. I also might add a eibach rear sway bar.

For starters, I just installed a new flow master american thunder cat back exhaust.

I'll keep this thread moving with progress and questions, because I'm sure I'll have plenty.

Also, might consider doing a 5 speed conversion at some point.

MM provided you a pretty solid list, basically what I’m in the process of doing to my GT over time. Coilovers may not be necessary for your use case but also could be. I have the exact same bilstein/MM front coilover set assembled but not installed yet, same 250lb springs. I also have MM/OEM rear upper control arms and new bushings waiting to go in. I do have their HD adjustable LCAs already installed. One additional piece I have (but not installed) is their panhard bar. I’ve had one on a previous Fox and feel it made the most difference of any suspension piece besides lowering springs and struts/shocks than anything else.

Love the color of your car!

Awesome, they did mention a panhandle bar would be icing on the cake. I just feel that the install of one would be very involved. And not sure if I want to tackle it.

There are a lot of shops that can install it for you but without knowing where your general location is we cannot recommend a person / place. Not saying anyone on here will know for sure but without a location we for sure don’t know.

Maybe later on I might consider it. I really like doing the work myself.

Nice car. I'm not seeing the "hard" miles in those pics, looks clean!

The good news is the exhaust you got works with the panhard bar. It's one of the few that follows the factory routing over the axle and therefore one of the few that works with the panhard bar an no "adjustments" needed.

So if you decide to do it down the road it won't be very involved.
