Ok so I had a code 41 replaced o2 sensors and the code went away when I replaced the afr sensor but…… my car still runs ragged and I drive it no check engine light. Now I bought the smoke machine and I’m getting smoke coming out 3 areas. The gasket intake to throttle, the intake to egr the gasket and I see it coming out the center of the tps sensor. I do belive the plastic price is in there. Is that normal? It a new sensor I just bought it .

I’m thinking the smoke around the EGR is actually coming out of it. I want to say several folks have experienced this and even new units have done it. TPS leak is not normal. Biggest culprit is the TB to upper intake leak.

I would just use a regular gasket. Chances are the mating surfaces are not flat. You can check that with a straight edge and if either one is not flat then use a flat plate (some use thick glass and some sand paper (be smart and use something like 300+ on the grit and work your way to 600 for a finish) to make them flat. Once you do that then install the paper gasket and in small increments snug the TB to the upper intake.

As far as the TPS goes I would remove the TPS sensor and see if the smoke is actually coming from the throttle blades shaft to the TB body seal.
