Progress Thread “Rising from Ashes 4” 93 Notchback build

It seems like it's two gallons of finish paint alone on your cars. I 'm loving it especially with the price of paint. It doesnt seem to matter to you, and that is very cool.
Probably have 6 gallons of clear on this one. 4 maybe more of base. Paint the inside because if I’m gonna do a color change.. I’m gonna do it right. And for Those wondering… yes I’m painting the inside only to put dynamat/sound deadner over it. But there’s a right way I don’t give a :leghump: about the cost

Carbon fiber is like chrome too me, most uses are 'dress up' yeah it is useful for weight reduction but in most cases it's visual.
Nice stuff and Kevin is......how'd you say? KING!
I just don't do 'pretty dress up'
If I had 'Trump money' I would just buy one of his cars just because I got money and I ain't waiting a year or more for him to build it.

Well, Id typically agree with you. But in the case of these. There’s just no way not to scuff the paint on the bars getting in and out so these carbon protectors are a necessary evil.

I have cars that are way worse to get in and out of
I've been seriously thinking we might need to add a 4 point cage in mine. I'm never going to use the back seat... but I don't want to deal with them getting in and out. *IF* I got door bars they;'d need to be the low slung type like MM has but not sure if that would work with my seats and door panels.

I can just put in ur seats and door panels and build a cage to clear. I have a swing out door bar cage in my 86 t-top notch

I'll let Kevin answer that, but as I recall from our conversations a couple of years back your place in line is your place... But maybe he'd sell you one of his personal cars.
Personal cars are not for sale. The money doesnt matter to me. Cant go out and replace a custom built car….and I like my cars more than money….and money wont change your place in line. Ive been offered more to get the car up in line. Thats always a NO

Gotcha, it'd have to be very low slung bars though as I don't want to have to climb over it and getting my wife to agree to riding in it will be hard enough without climbing over a cage (she thinks Fox body cars are ugly) and honestly I think the 4 point would be good enough.

Another point in your favor.
