I know I tend to be on the ocd side but I have to say the “factory t-top install was horrible. They butchered the car to install this t-top frame and setup. There are all sorts of window bead shoved into the massive holes they’ve left. Metal just hammered and shoved out of the way. And then the top top frames are not even coated with anything on the insides.I will never buy a factory t-top car again after really dissecting a factory one. So needless to say I am going to do this t-top setup the right way. I’m going to be tearing apart every piece and perfecting it and coating it. Here’s the first piece

Not near done on making this a one
Of a kind hood. But the molded top is done just down to block and prime 20x. Underside is coming along but far from done. Of course I make custom core support/radiator covers for most of my cars. This one Im thinking that cover and extending that into a shroud to meet the heat extraction vent on the hood.

Lots of work ahead on the T-Top notch bottom. Got it perfect on center so now its bascially rotating ittself when I pull the pin. Makes painting much easier

I recently received an education from an expert on a Reddit thread that there are NO frame rails on any fox body as they are unibody construction. I'm gonna need you to edit all your posts and admit that you've used the wrong terminology since you used the term "frame rails" and foxes clearly don't have them. If you disagree with this expert, he will use Gemini to prove you wrong.
