    how do i know if my heater core is not working? my motor isntin the car so i cant turn it on and see. is there a way i can see if it works without the motor in the car.

    What to expect.

    My friend is looking at a 1989 mustang 4 banger. Its a 5 spd the body i very straight except for some surface rust the interior is pretty nice and it has ponies. He was wonderign what can he do to make it run nice, sound nice and make it have more power? 0 its not a turbo either.

    pulling the engine

    Im ready to take the motor out and i have a couple questions. Should i offset the theings im hooking the chain too? And i started to jack it up and it felt like it was caught. I took a big nut off that held the motor mounts on and **** and all the motor to tranny bolts any ideas?

    I was talkin the starter bolt off and i rounded the head of the bolt. Any ideas how to get it out? Its been holding me back from pullin my motor out and i was hopin to do it tomorrow.

    Alright i have everything removed except for starter and alternator.(says to remove these in manual) I am now taking the the bolts that hold the engine and tranny together. drivers side top bolt is hard to get at and loosen because of the smog hose.     just put a hurst in my car. and well there in=s this metal bezel with like a rubber boot. and it is hard ass hell the get back over the shifter. what should i do??

    i removed the pully thingy and that canister. now where the canister is there is a thing thats comes out of the fire wall and another one below it that is attatched to like a hose that goes to the radiator thing. does anyone know how tho get those things in the fire wall? if you have pics...
