    Hanging Idle?

    anyone have any ideas what is causing my hanging idle. after i rev it it comes down to 2k for a few seconds, then drops to about 1300..... the drops right down to 900 and idles smooth even with my TFS stage 1. any ideas?

    hey guys, i gotta stewart warner water pump. it cam with two plates. i put the one in and it didnt look lke the other one was suppose to go behind it. the water pump needs to come out about 1/8 of an inch to align my pulleys. do i use both of the plates? thanks!

    Finally getting gears put in! 3 Quick questions...

    Not sure on the gears but an aftermarket cover is nice because not only does it have drain and fill plugs, but the one from TA like i have features main cap supports which is nice. You arent gonna be making enough power to have to worry about needeing c clip eliminators. ;)

    putting in crankshaft,how is plastic gage used?

    Right. just lay it perpindicular to the bearing surface. You do have to make sure you get the right range of plastigauge though. Let's say you are measuring for oil clearence and know spec is .005". You need to get plastigauge that ranges from say .003"-.009"... Good luck and let us know how it...
