    I believe the pistons in a lincoln are cast pistons , where in a 86-93 mustang they will be forged or hypereutectic which is obviously stronger.

    I picked up a lincoln mark VIII fan at my local junk yard for 23.00 Installed a switch and a relay , And the stock electrical systemis doing just fine. And its much better than a clutch fan.

    The only way you are going to get it to work that way is to buy a standard flow water pump.     Spray paint is definetly the wrong way to go. It will not last . Save a couple of hundred bucks and let a real body/paint shop do it.

    I just bought a lincoln mark VIII Fan for my 92 gt. My question is how much do i have to trim to get it to fit? I'm afraid to trim to much because i don't want the fan to hit the radiator. And i do have a 3 core radiator on the car if that makes a differance.

    How does a 160 t-stat cause a car to over heat? I was thinking about removing my 160 and putting in a restrictor plate with a 5/8 inch hole. Is this a bad idea.
