    im having some idle issues w/my 84 gt it is idling at 400-500 rpm ive adjusted the idle and that doesnt seem to do any good it will idle but when i put it in gear it dies unless i nuetral drop it any ideas on what could be wrong?

    yea the timing is very close to set but i really need to have the car started and running to time it perfect ive heard after u put a distributor back in you need to set it to TDC is that correct i thought it was but my dad says as long as it is when you took it out it works just fine
