Photoshop Help - A closing image for my posts.

I don't disagree, as I contemplated the one piece lights a great deal just before I purchased the 6 piece set. The Stangnet forums helped me out with my decision, as most prefer the original look, so and I ultimately resigned for the more conservative lights.

You can have him back. Who do I send him too? He should spend more time with his uncle. He likes talking mustangs.

Photoshop Help - A closing image for my posts.

I have the chrome tips, just don't have them installed yet. (Thanks for the photoshop post of chrome tips) Hey! I paid good money to have those door handles and mirrors painted red to match the window trim all the way around. Over the T-giving holiday, the black trim around the taillights...

Photoshop Help - A closing image for my posts.

Thank you! The tailpipes are sitting in my garage awaiting my decision on a new tranny. T-5 or T-56. Not sure yet. Yours looks good too. Thanks again!

Photoshop Help - A closing image for my posts.

I really like those images you Stangnet members have at the bottom of your posts, and I would like to have one too. I am terrible with photoshop, and can never seem to completely crop the background out of the photos to even get to a point to drop them into a special image creation. Can...

Transmission Upgrade, Miles per Gallon, and Future Plans

I have committed to installing a quality turbo kit next year, which will allow my stock-like set up to maximize street performance and miles-per-gallon. With the stock CAM I look to have a daily driver that has decent gas mileage, but can get a boost to 450hp when I need it. That given, I am...

Can One Guy and 4 Jackstands Replace a Transmission and Clutch?

What if you are a manly girl? Not that I am either one; I'm just sayin. (BTW - Thanks for the good info/advice!)

Can One Guy and 4 Jackstands Replace a Transmission and Clutch?

Like the title asks . . . can one dude jack up a 92GT on standard jack stands and replace the transmission and clutch? I'm looking at the idea of purchasing a rebuilt tranny and getting a clutch kit built for a 400HP set up. Can I do this alone, or do I have to have a lift and a buddy...

    Need help With cobra Intake

This, my friends, is the answer. It is my understanding that you can port a Cobra to flow better than a GT40. If you get a chinese made Cobra, make sure you get a Ford Racing baffle to replace the small one the made in china version comes with.

I'll Take "Pinpoint My Knock" for $250, Alex

Broken Aftermarket Underdrive Pulley "What is a broken under drive pulley?" That's what a paid mechanic said to me this morning. The MAC crank pulley is about a year old, and apparently cracked. I can't believe I am paying a mechanic to replace it. A MARCH pulley is going on. No more...

I'll Take "Pinpoint My Knock" for $250, Alex

The best way for me to answer that question is to say that it is more a "knock" than a ticking sound. No knock when I run the engine without the belt for a minute. It is sometimes has varying degrees of knock, most often more prevalent when warmed up than cold. I'm getting a stethoscope...

I'll Take "Pinpoint My Knock" for $250, Alex

I put my ear to a heater hose to try to locate the knock, but I have not tried the screwdriver test. Would a bearing inside the engine only produce a knock if tension were put on the pulley?

I'll Take "Pinpoint My Knock" for $250, Alex

My 92GT has a knock that has the rhythm and sound like a rocker arm hitting a valve cover, but I cannot pinpoint where it is coming from. The knock disappears when I run the motor without the serpentine belt. So this tells me I have a problem with one of the accessories (AC Compressor, Power...

    Knock Down Below

Sigh of Relief? I took advice from another post, and I think I have a sigh of relief in that I do not hear a knock when I run the engine without the serpentine belt. This tells me I have a accessory or water pump knock, which is a lot easier to handle than a lifter or bearing inside the...

    Knock Down Below

My 92GT has had a knock for couple of weeks, and I attacked the problem this weekend as if it was a rocker arm hitting the valve covers. I did this partly because I've been wanting tall FR covers and a 1" spacer fro a while, so I put them on and also removed all the smog equipment and...

Is It EZ to Replace the Clutch Safety Switch

Just for the record, this was a very tough part replacement for me. I did have to take the seat out in order to reach the cotter pin and screw that holds the switch in place. This job took about 1.5 hours for me, and was much worse than the quadrant.

ignition problems* key in, everything turns on

There is some good advice in the threads above. I would first try to start the car with by jumping the solenoid by putting the car in neutral with parking brake on, and with key ignition in the "on" position; just use a screwdriver to make contact with both sides of the solenoid. If you...

Is It EZ to Replace the Clutch Safety Switch

Is it easy to change out the clutch safety switch? Do I need to take the seat out like I did for swapping out the quadrant? Are instructions online anywhere, or is this a no-brainer part replacement. If you can't tell, I haven't taken a thorough look under the dash yet to see how to...

Blinkers and AC Blower No Worky

I had my turn signal blinkers and the AC Motor shut down at the same time yesterday. Haven't had time to check the fuse box yet. When I go to turn on the AC, and I move the AC to "MAX", the vacuum controlled door under the glove box doesn't work, so I fear this is more than just the...
