    I get 1.9-2.0 60' times. I have gotten 1.8's on Nitto DR's but I haven't put together a good lauch with 3 good shifts. I guess I'm just shifting too slow to make the ET.

    I have three questions: 1) What is your ET at that MPH? 2) Slicks, DR's or street tires? 3) What does the car make on the Dyno? My fastest trap speed is 107.9mph, I believe it's good for high 12's but will I need to get slicks or can I do that with DR's? Thanks for any input, Gabe

    Sorry, the '98 Viper had 17" wheels. That was the first year I ever saw a 335 on a street car. The newer ones do have 18's, albeit, 335's still.

    Michelin and Pirelli make 335 tires for the Viper and Saleen, respectively. For the sake of rationale though, The viper wheel is 17x13, not 10.5". Low 5.0 has a good point.

    Drifting?

    You need a really good rear suspension. Panhard bar and torque arm. Mustangs didn't drift in D1 until the '05, I believe partly because the stock 4-link fox suspension is just about the worst when it comes to controlling a car in a drift due to its poor lateral control of the axle.
