    possible coolant leakage?

yea so i just installed a new intake manifold, and after about 2 days of driving i got a low coolant light. now i did notice my left tailpipe had more than normal condensation in it, and my catch can for oil on the pcv line was gross... it looked like coffee so im guessing it was water, oil...

what if i did this? crazy?

that would be pretty cool. you could probably make it more effiecent if you could remove the hot side of the turbo and just have the cool side, less drag on the electric motor. i was a little confused on what you said by "sealing the intake" if i put the smog line before the maf

what if i did this? crazy?

where does the pump take in air from? idk whether or not to filter it. i think im gonna try this lol. the only thing im worried about is that when i put my hand over the out going air, it felt very choppy, so idk how well the maf is gonna read "puffs" of air.

what if i did this? crazy?

so i removed all my smog stuff, i just didnt pull off the pump yet. i was wondering if i could re-direct the airflow coming from the pump, into my intake system, before the maf and use it as a very small, very ghetto supercharger? how would this work?

installed new intake.. massive over heating?

got it fixed, i think. havent driven it yet. before i tried to fix it i ran the car with heater on full blast for a while.. just cool air. took off the sensor right after the thermostat and put nearly a gallon of coolant into it before i topped it off. plugged the sensor back in, ran it with...

installed new intake.. massive over heating?

just did that, had the heater on full blast and let it idle around 1500, after about 45 sec - 1 min the radiator filler neck started to over flow so i had to shut the car off

installed new intake.. massive over heating?

i got my new intake on, but my temp gauge will fly up to the red overheat bar in less than 5 minutes. im gussing i have some air in my coolant system, because the top of my intake is still very cool. i have read that steam can cause the temp gauge to go way up, so what can i do to get it out?
