    oil pan gasket

    i changed mine by pullin the motor.....if ya have access to a engine hoist, i would say its easier to pull it, while you got it out can take a look at the bearings and oil pump....least that is what i did.

    yup you morethan likely will need a custom chip to solve issues. i got mine from JMS and it fixed many problems, figure on at least $300+...

    Keep in mind that with the E-cam you may have some idle quality and some other drivability issues that may need a chip to correct.....other than that it's a decent cam.

    the 16-29 in-pd is the amount of force required to turn the pinion after you have tightened the nut.

    Just checked fuel pressure.....is abut 39-40 with vacuum unhooked.......if I start bringinh up the rpm....the fuel pressure starts droping....is this normal or is the regulator going bad..(is stock regulator) Thanks

    uuuhhh....am 44 and in first quarter at hocking college in southern ohio.....going for bach degree to become a physical therapy asst.....got the schooling paid for by the feds thru the TAA(they closed my factory in indiana and sent the production to mexico:P)sux goin back to school...lol

    Sloppy grabbing front end, fix?

    sometimes the "jerking" around can be caused by the road surface(big gulleys worn in it)...I know after i put larger tires and wheels on mine i could feel it do that now and then on nasty roads....but if doing on a newly paved road then i would do as the others suggested on here and get it checked.

    have decided to go ahead and pull the ported gt-40's off and get a set of aluminum heads....question is are the afr's worth the extra expense of edelbrocks? this is basically a daily drive and geting the last bit of hp out of it isnt really that big a deal....thanks

    i ran mine with tes stock motor for 210,000....it still ran great then just the valve guides and seals were shot...the cylinder walls still had hone marks in them

    i know another head question.....anyway, have the following-e-cam,cobra intake,70mm bbk tb,bbk shorties abd o/r pipe with flows on back,a jms chip.now the deal is the heads are gt-40's that have been ported ,they intale ports are nearlly the size of a fel-pro 1262 gasket(1.28x2.10). think thats...
