another head queston

have decided to go ahead and pull the ported gt-40's off and get a set of aluminum heads....question is are the afr's worth the extra expense of edelbrocks? this is basically a daily drive and geting the last bit of hp out of it isnt really that big a deal....thanks

I'd say no then. Just get the Eddy and save yourself the money.

The AFR's are nice, but for the price you have to pay and since your car isn't going to be made an all out racer, I'd go for something else like the Edelbrocks or Trick Flow. Might be able to check the classifides to find a good deal on some used heads.

Getting ready to put my edelbrocks on,I had a set of ported GT40's on.If you wait a few days,I will get back to you and let you know how they perform.I am running a 351W.but should still be able to give you a fair comparison.

the new Eddys are supposedly a copy of the AFR 165 design....id REALLY like to see a head to head dyno shootout between the 2 heads and see how it goes.....if anyone wants to donate some heads ill be glad to do it personally
