    1966 I6 to V6 motor swap

Its not a widely done swap, you will probably be fabricating mounts for the engine and transmission at the minimum. Not to mention the electrical work. You will not find a whole lot of reference material online. I'm not sure how much HP the V6 makes, so I'm not sure whether you would need to...

    First project car

Dude, get the roller block, you obviously don't care about keeping it stock, so why leave some good HP on the table. Avoid the GT40-p heads from the explorer 5.0 though, the plugs stick straight out and its a PIA to change them with headers.

    Maybe time for some upgrades...Suggestions?

port and polish job on the gt40 heads would be a good idea too.

    Maybe time for some upgrades...Suggestions?

upgrade to some gt-40 heads ($300 on craigslist) and a e303 cam from ford racing, upgrade your rear gears to a higher ratio and buy a 2800-3200 stall converter. Money well spent!

1968 mustang rear seat upholstery from procar

I recovered my rear seat this weekend, all new batting and foam. It came out pretty decent for my first upholstery job ever. I will say that it is really hard on the hands, my finger tips and knuckles took a beating. All in all the seat covers fit well and look pretty good. An upholstery shop...

P/S control valve - stop pin removal

I'm trying to remove a busted up Bendix control valve from my center link, the only thing stopping me from unscrewing it is this little stop pin. Does anyone know how to take it out without damaging it or the centerlink?

    Dallas Mustang complaint

If that is the case then what do you think actually happened here? I attached photos of my control arms, notice the 3 bolt (1967-1973) control arm and the corresponding item from DM's website. Then below it is the offending 4 bolt control arm with the corresponding link from DM's website that...

    Dallas Mustang complaint

I live in Dallas and I have spent thousands of dollars on mustang parts from Dallas Mustang. It seems that they screw me and my friends at every turn. My most recent incident is when I bought the full delux suspension package from them. I installed it and everything seems ok...not so. It turns...

    Belt Squeal at Startup

Are there any indications there is a pump failure (overheating, steering problems..etc)? Have you tried spinning the water pump by hand to make sure the belts are tight enough? I know you said they were tight, but common sense says the belt squeal issue is coming from a loose belt. Take the...

    Best A/C kit?

My car is a heater only car, I did pick up a set of A/C vents and controls a while back, but they aren't in that great condition and would not really match the interior.

    Best A/C kit?

I want to put A/C in my 1968 coupe. I want it to look as close to factory as possible, but still be brand new. Who makes the best kits, consider ease of installation, looks and operation.

    Steering Wheel Not Straight

The at home fix is to take the steering wheel off and adjust it till it is where you want it. It is possible that the adjustments to the tie rod ends over time have caused the steering wheel to be out of place. A shop could fix this for you. If you are going to sell it, then save the money and...
