    Ive seen this done and it does take away from the looks of it but it probably will work. The way i think is that even though the tube gets warm when you get on the gas the air that is getting drawn in isnt going to stay in the intake tube long enough to get as hot as the tube itself anyway...

    this thing looks great under the hood and also has unbelievable power. 3000 rpms+ and this thing runs like a raped ape. Disconnected the battery for 45 min during install and then drove the car hard for 30 min and it acts like a different car. Highly impressed and recommend this product...

    Thanks for the help guys. If I need any pics i'll let you know. I wish i could get a dyno first but the closest one near me is about 2 hours away. Dont have that kind of time to kill just for that. Would a Gtech work for dyno numbers? Are they close for reading the same thing.?

    Accufab TB/Plenum results... not what I expected

    Read where a 70mm tb will keep your tq the same but not gain as much hp. 75mm tb will gain more hp but lose a little tq. Both number will be only about 2-3 hp or tq so it doesnt really amount to much. Steeda says 70 mm is enough up to 400hp.

    Ive got a set of the original 2 chambers but I was just wondering if they sound as good or better than the super 40s. I'll be putting a prochamber in front of them in the near future and I'd like to have the most sound out of them possible. Shouldn't be too much drone should it?

    That's what I was leaning towards anyway because the car will remain somewhat stock except for the intake and exhaust. Mac said that the aftermarket mass air will ten to lean the car out. Thanks for the info.
