this thing looks great under the hood and also has unbelievable power. 3000 rpms+ and this thing runs like a raped ape. Disconnected the battery for 45 min during install and then drove the car hard for 30 min and it acts like a different car. Highly impressed and recommend this product.

Sorry no dyno numbers..........i know, i know............. but closest dyno is 2 hours away. I will call MAC monday and let them know how it came out and will ask about any dyno numbers they may have because i'm curious too on what i gained.

What other mods do you have on your car besides the Striaght Shot? And where did you purchase your Striaght Shot from?

The MAC MAF, using the stock electronics, is likely leaning you out. Not a bad thing to make power this way, but it has to be monitored in some way. As you see in my sig, I've removed my C&L MAF on my 02 for this reason until I can get back to the dyno. But my problem was compounded by my SCT chip that was already leaning me out. Also, as you see, the C&L MAF IS still on my wife's 01, since her Diablo chip is an older, mild tune.
Congrats on the new found power. Can you list your other mods in your sig?
And Welcome to StangNet!

02 GT only other mods are 2 chamber flows and it was the kit with the mass air. Picked it up from Mac east coast. im sure it was more than 2 hp but probably not 25 rwhp as they advertised but you can sure tell a difference. My wife drove it last night and then this afternoon after install and she asked me if i had done anything to the car because it felt alot faster and she didnt know anything about the straight shot.

It seems that the large MAF combined with a slightly decent CAI set-up might get you 5-7rwhp tops, which might lead you to some where around 15 flywheel hp. Which is slightly closer to MAC's supposed claims. If making 25 hp were this easy on a mustang with such little effort, EVERYONE would have one for that low of a cost. If it's too good to be true, it probably is.

wtf is this straigh shot thing? i want to know as well...

oh gawwwwwd. lol jk.. Any 90 degree bend before the mass air sensor screw up the reading and makes the engine run "weird." with the new MAC "straight shot" there is no bend hence the name "straight shot." Other than that it's just another CAI with a fancy name to bargain people of their money.
