    when you say the one in the passenger side are you talking about the cooling temp or the o2 sensor. If your talking about the coolant temp, could that be the reason my fans didnt kick on once and it over heated??

    I do have a boost gauge, but when people talk about belt sliipage i guess i dont know what happens. My car will go to about 7-9 psi then hesataite, then build so more boost to about 10-11 then hesataite again then build some more boost. it doesnt do it at the same psi of boost each time.

    Is it possible to blow a headgasket because of the engine getting to hot. and also can you blow a headgasket and not have coolant go into the oil, cuz i got oil leaking out the back and i think its coming from heads but it could be sneaking out the valve covers not sure yet?? any ideas

    well got the fan working, and dont really know what i did. Unhooked it to check the voltage and they were all fine. so i plugged it back in and now it works just fine, kicks on at 208 and slowly drops to about 190 then turns back off keeps the car nice and cool.     well i went and unplugged the ect sensor and turned the key on and nothing happend. the fan fuses are both good. any ideas where to go next.

    I just put an autometer water temp gauge on my 1995 mustang i just unhooked the old wire and put on a new sensor and a new gauge. Do i need my old sender wire to tell the fan when to kick on. Because now the fans wont kick on. and it overheated. or is there a different, temp sensor for the fans????

    Cooling problems

    Thanks i will get a new cap and see if that takes care of it. I think that the junk that was in my radiator fluid might have clogged up the spring to the radiator cap. I dont know where it came from. just did a flush about 500 miles ago. hope i can figure it out.
