I think the problem for Kevin on that model is he simply will not allow less than perfect paint and body to leave his shop like that, which would put the roller out of the price range most people would want to spend. Then there's the wait list he already has so no time. I'm sure there's a market for it for other "builders" but I can't see Kevin doing that.I realize that this is not what you do but this and [all] of your threads provoked a thought:
A dude that buys Fox/SN95 Stangs, strips them all down, does all the bodywork, paint, glass, and trim, and that's it... Inside has 3 pedals (even if it started as an auto), a steering wheel, door and window handles and gets sold that way.
Some el-cheapo wheels and tires, OEM style shocks and control arms (or maybe LCAs like MM that are good in [all] scenarios), OEM style brakes and 5-lug.
I dunno. It seems like there would be a [huge] market for something like that for peeps that want to do projects but like me, can't do paint and body worth a flyin'-fook.
