Don't laugh, I heard it from a really old body man (panel beater) who is known for practical jokes.
He also told me that model A's were painted with brushes, now I've heard that before

Good grief and holy sheet…I hope you don’t retire before I can afford to send my car to you. Do you do lay-a-way?

Honestly, it's not that bad on a weekly invoice (assuming you budget for it) outside of some big ticket items. For example, I'm sure the cost of the paint materials here would be more than a weekly invoice, but Kevin has also called me to tell me we should buy a bunch of clear (long before we need it) just due to the fact that he had a price that we needed to take advantage of which will save in the end. Also his hourly rate is *checks notes* WAY higher than expected! (secret side note for just you) he's way too low but don't tell him that!

Thanks man! I do everything I can to make these builds do able for anyone. Its still not cheap. Especially when using quality materials. But I try to save where I can for people. And I try to keep hrs steady and not heavy while still making progress until we reach a time where a lot of hrs are needed to finish a job.

Alright, I gotta ask... What's ballpark if somebody drops off a running Fox body?

We talking a trip to Universal Studios, budget hotel, and sandwiches at the picnic table?

--or--

Full week at Disney in the finest park property with all meals and transportation included?

That really depends on what you want, and what surprises you find along the way. Then it also depends on how much you stick to your plan. I will say I am WAY over the original budget for the original plan, but that plan got shot to hell pretty quickly and I just said screw it let's do it right!

The way he invoices helps a lot. He has two of my cars right now. One nearing the finish line if it will ever behave, and another that I think will break the Saleen Community.

Sun time.
Cut and buff on fenders.
And from the back almost looks like a car now with the lid on.
