Last year I shifted hard from 4th to 5th and spun the tires soo much rear end kicked sideways.

Ok, fine, there was 6 inches of snow on the ground, and the highway was really icy. Oh, never mind

It was pretty crappy. I've always had the Stang tucked away for the winter by the time the snow started to fly, but I got caught off guard last year. Seemed nice when I went to work in the morning, but then it began snowing like crazy. I left work early [good thing!!] but not early enough. My poor little Stang wasn't very happy. First time the poor little thing ever seen snow.

I took out the 04 the other day and went down to a long road and turned down the dirt road and waited for traffic to clear then pulled out, got straight rolling around 10-15 checked for cops AGAIN, then hammered it.Instantly lit up, had to feather it a couple times, then slapped 2nd while still spinning and spun in second for a couple of seconds, ran through 2nd and slammed 3rd and got a nice scratch.Thats a tipical run with the light up and all, even when pulling out of the paved road that comes out of the other side of the high way, so dont say there was dirt on the tires LOL cuz I rolled a pretty good ways...and if any was on there it came off pretty quick . You sound suprised to get and bark out of 3rd even when completely stock I could get rubber if I really tried..well most of the time LOL.If you want to bark EVERY time get a pro 5.0 shifter, I can shift at LEAST twice as fast and ALWAYS get rubber out of 3rd.LOL I can shift 2nd-3rd faster and more reliably than 1st-2nd.
