May have a line blockage? If you have the tools to pull them apart I would and use compressed air to check them.

So, you removed as much of the fuel you could from the tank, and then started and ran it to remove the rest? Do I have that right? So, all of the crud that was in the tank, now more concentrated at the bottom, was pulled into the fuel system? While using air to push the clog you have out of the line, you’re gonna likely push it back into the tank. A better, but more involved process, would be to remove the tank, remove the inlet line fitting, and do a complete tank cleaning, as well as blow out the lines from the tank forward (after removing them from the engine compartment).

Also check the inertia switch in the trunk to make sure the fuel pump is getting power. Also maybe try to disconnect the line at the filter and turn on the key to see if it is actually pumping fuel (use something to catch the fuel first).
