00' V6 Auto Tranny???

Hi, im a new member here, obviously, i love the mustang and it is like my dream car, yet i do not own one........yet. Any way im surrounded by mustangs to taunt me which sucks, b/c i cant get away from them everywhere i go there is one, not even my own home, i got four surrounding me at neighboring houses, one 04 cobra modded, a 02 gt also modded, a 04 mach 1, and a 02 convert. Now my good friend at college just picked a 2000 v6 convert. Now im going to be taunted by him too, at least ill get to drive it and ride in it. But ne way to the actually point of this thread. I told him he should mod it. I own a focus, auto sadly and i know that the tranny can only take so much torque. How much torque can the stock auto tranny handle on the stang? Thanks

The 2000+ V6 auto tranny can hold 400 hp with some slight mods.....more power than the engine produces that is for sure. the V6 trans is the same trans as the 4.6 - only with one or two less cltuches and some easyier shift settings....all can be changed.
