Also, for the original poster and for others new to the board, just want to mention that the search button feature is available. You can pull helpful information from previous posts (ie - I searched for "cams" and quickly viewed a handful of old threads). However, not all of the information is always correct - so please be careful! It's always a good idea to doublecheck the information you come across on the 'net...

yea i saw that..i dont know if i'd do it myself or pay someone..it looks like a real bitch of a project. i almost bought some SHM stage II's last month, but held off due to smog issues (damn california)

i didnt think it would be that bad jesus im not really interested anymore all of the sudden port and polish is sounding pretty good

It isn't that big of a deal-just gotta take time with it, port and polish im sure won't do you all that much wiht stock cam- stock cams dont really do much more with any head work at all- jsut work with your boltons if your conserned with gutting any of the internals and putting the cobra under the knife
