I bought my stang brand new in 2001. about 1 year ago the leather started to wear off on the top of the steering wheel. I don't think that i gorilla grip it or anything does anyone else have this problem and is it a warrenty item? thanks for the input!

Should be, I have had 2 seats replaced for cracks in the leather so i'd guess there shouldn't be a problem

REALLY!! I wonder if my dealer would go in for that even tho they are really pathetic when it comes to my warranty. My seats are starting to crack pretty bad but i dont know if it would be as bad as replacing them, but hey brand new seats would be nice. How bad were your seats when you got them replaced? Its worth a shot i may try it but im sure they come up with an excuse like my exhaust caused it and my warranty is gone.

Mine were not that bad a little bit of lines, but I am anal as hell about my car. I had them replace my rear panel where the speaker are for a little scratch and the plastic arm rest things on the door for a little color fading. My dealer has been real cool about everything. Hell they even replaced the dipstick when I broke it installing headers. Knock on wood. Hopefully everything goes good tuesday when I take it in for a new clutch.
