01 to 03 x-pipes whats the difference?

called pacifica today to order a o/r x-pipe and they told me they have ones for 99 -01 but they wont fit on the 03. whats the difference?

Nothing as far as I know. The 04 stangs are different though.

Are you sure they weren't thinking of a potential difference between a manual and auto? I had some parts place tell me that theirs wouldn't fit an auto. I went with MAC for price and fitment.

I dont think there is any. My x pipe is made for 99'-03'.

i didnt think there was a difference,i called today and they told me that the 02 and 03 have a insert or something. ordered it anyways let you know when it gets here what there talking about. thanks
