02 explorer motor in a gt?

just like title says... would you buy a 02 gt with a 02 explorer motor in it? is that motor capable of more than stock stang motor. im sure it has a lot less hp and tq stock

sure why not a buddy of mine has one in his mustang.he also did a n/a shootout and made the magazine mustang&fast fords,couple of years ago and he has all bolt ons and cams runs 12.00 with explorer motor.

the explorer motor is the same PI motor.. plus it has a aluminum block..

You could do that.. but the explorer motor is good to swap into a gt because of the weight savings and the aluminum block could also be sleeved for big bore.
