I've read conflicting stories about the size of the factory throttle body on 4.6L SOHC modulars. Some stories have indicated I could expect to find a 70mm job on my 02 from the factory but this seems counter to all the 70mm TB offerings from the likes of BBK and Accufab.

I'm seriously considering an Accufab or C&L plenum and don't really think I need the TB for my near-stock GT. But if one was offered as a package-deal, I might take them up on it...but not if the car already has 70mm stock.

Anyone know for sure? Anyone actually measured the factory TB size on 99+ GTs? Is there a difference anywhere from 99 to 04?

I went with the accufab plenum and their 70 MM TB. RWHP went up by 11, and RWTQ was up by 14.

Excellent. 11HP is a pretty sweet deal. Thanks for the clarification to all.
