03/04 supercharger

alright im knew to the 4.6 world. i have always had 302's. but i just bought a 96 gt. i got a 97 aluminum block/ 96 4v heads/ i would like to get a eaton supercharger. like the ones that go on the 03/04 cobras. im not looking for that much hp. just enough to eat up the z28s!!! how much is one of these setups worth. and will it work w/ my setup?

It can be done, but you would also have to obtain the 03/04 cobra intake as well as the supercharger. You can typically find used or refurbished eatons on ebay from $500-$800; some of them have the lower intake with them for around $1000-$1500 total.

yeah i found a intake/supercharger/injectors/&rails for 1000. but i didnt know how much of a direct bolt up it would be. i have 96 heads. & ive herd that u need 99 up heads to use the eaton setup. is this true.

IMO not worth trying when you can get a Vortech, KB 2.1, etc. and probably end up spending less money and less headaches.

ANYTHING can be done if you have the time, money, and skills. But there's a reason why you never see anyone doing this.

Reason why cobra blowers are so cheap is because they are only good to other cobra owners who need another one for some reason
