These seats look great, and I would love to install them in my 95 5.0. Has anyone performed a similiar swap or have an article I can refer to? The seats come with the original tracks.

Thanks.

Well, it shouldn't be too hard, just remove all the rails from the bottom of the seat, or chop them up and weld, then install some universal sliders drill some holes and mount em to the chassis!

If you want some similar seats, that have brackets available that fit your car, checkout Corbeau racing seats.

I had RSX seats in my 02' GT for about a week, haha. I actually picked mine up locally from someone who had them in their Mustang. He ordered some brackets so that they would bolt up to his car. I don't remember where he got them, but it was online - and not hard to get.

The only problem was the seats sat too high. They worked out perfect for him because he was short. I am only 5'10 and they just sat too high for my taste, if I was any shorter they would have probably worked out. It felt weird being so high and just looking down rather than straight. The only way I could get them down some was to recline the seats back a ways, but this just made it uncomfortable.

If you look at the pics below, you can see the custom brackets he has on there. The rear of the brackets probably adds to the height problem.

I traded the seats to a friend for a set of stockers, but with the upgraded headrests (that mine did not have) plus he threw some cash on top. He made his own brackets to try to bring the seats down some. But when I sat in his car, they still felt pretty high, but he likes them and they work perfectly for him.

I use to have 03' Cobra seats in my car as well, those were great seats - gripped you nicely. Corbeau CR1's are next on the list.

Some pics of the RSX seats:

Those seats look nice

I wouldn't mind getting me some black seats of some sort, but the few times that I have sat in a car with aftermarket seats, they seem a bit high and likely to not be comfortable on longer drives.
