OK,

tomorrow I put my 03 booster in my 93 as one of the final portions of my 5 lug swap. Not planning on using a BFH on the shock tower, just gonna reem the holes out and hope for the best.

If studies the pertinant sites extensively but I was wondering if anyone had any tips.

I'm sure he has a V6 booster, which is vacuum. You will have to slot the holes and you may have to work with the pedal arm since it might not align up just right. I've read about some people using the newer ones and have had problems with it clearing where it hooks up to the pedal. I plan to try one out in mine since I can get one for about $25 locally.

Good luck!

THIS SUCKS! the fact that I have a 5.8 is not helping. enlargened the passenger side holes top and bottom and I am still wedged. Think I'll call it a night and tackle it 2morrow...

When I did my booster, I put a 2x4 on a jack and slightly put some upward pressure on the drivers side of the engine and it moved about a 1/16" which was what I needed to help move it around. Make sure you make a template to see that you are elongating the correct holes.

Well, it's in. I never want to do that again.

I hooked it up to the pedal, just to try (no mc yet) and I noticed that when I let go of the pedal it binded a little bit - not enough to hold the pedal in position, but enough that I noticed it. Can I adjust this out, or is this because the rod coming out of the booster is straight and not canted like the fox booster?

Yeah, that is a great point, as someone covered that problem on the Corral Website with the Booster rod being straight and causing problems. I hate to tell you, but I think the fix was to change back to the curved style. I put a 93 Cobra in mine and never want to do that job again, and I ended up having a problem with my brake lights staying on, so I had to remove it and reinstall it to finally get everything working right.
