recently i took a little visit to www.mustangexhaust.com and heard some exhaust i really like the steeda exhaust. I was just wondering what kinda of headers and x-pipe i should run with it. Does bassani headers and x-pipe sounds like a good choice?

Skip the headers for now. They are expensive and difficult/time consuming to install. Plus they don't provide very good "bang for the buck" on a basically stock 03/04 Cobra. There are plent of 03/04 Cobra's out there making 500+ HP and they are still running the stock exhaust logs. Once you have a KB on there pushing 20+ psi, then think about upgrading the stock exhaust manifolds. Your money is better spent on other mods that will give you a better return on your investment. CAI, shifter, tires, etc.

Um I dont mean to sound like a jerk but Headders will give you more power than a CAI. It will also sound alot better to. Do the Headders. They had a GT on the 4.6 forum gain like 23 rwhp just from headders, I'm sure your cobra could "shell" out some more hp, especially after a pully,CAI.throttle body. A full exhaust on your cobra will give you at least 40rwhp. Sounds good to me.

I went to lmperformance.com and saw SLP products for mustangs... I was like WTF? SLP made the Performance parts for the SS Camaro and WS6 Birds.

I have a Loudmouth for my Vette and I LOVE it.

Anyways, SLP is about as nice as it gets for Exhaust in my opinion and its LOUD.

This system lives up to its name very well. MAC, borla, etc do not even come close. And its all stainless, not aluminized crap.

If you don't want loud, this is NOT the system for you.

I ordered the Long tube headers, Xpipe, and Catback.

Cheers!
