I am wondering if anyone has removed the spoiler from their car? I am wanting to install the 2000 cobra r wing, but I would rather not waste $500 on a V6 decklid just to do this... anyone?
I put a 2003 cobra spoiler on my 2001 cobra. There are 5 bolt holes on the top, and 2 more on the back. There are also two more plastic "snap" tab holes on the back near the light.
You will also have to buy the normal third brake light assembly as the 2003 spoiler sits in that hole.
Considering you have to buy the tail light (80 bucks) anyhow, maybe getting a new decklid makes sense. You could always ebay your old deck lid with spoiler for a good chunk of cash. I paid 200 for the spoiler only and I felt like I got a pretty good deal.
