03 GT hesitates at low speed

Hey, I'm new and this is my first post. Hope I can get some help with my problem.

When I accelerate from a dead stop my car seems to lurch or hesitate a bit. This only seems to happen between 30 and 40 mph. My car is little over 86k miles and for the most part runs and accelerates just fine under throttle. The problem seems to occur also when I have to drop speed then accelerate again like on the freeway. It almost feels like its missing or something.

Any ideas?

fuel filter
spark plugs

obviously check the COP's also when doing the plugs.

for now i'd go around, one at a time, and unplug the cop's. the idle will get rough if its ok. you want to find one that doesnt affect the current idle.
i'd start with the plugs on either side against the firewall

Sounds like basic tune up issues to me.

FUel filter and spark plugs would be my first start. Go with an OEM motorcraft fuel filter and Motorcraft Sp-493 plugs gapped at 0.054"

Thanks for the tips. I thought the same things. I had already picked up a filter and plugs. Just haven't been able to put them in. I was really just curious if it could have been more than something so simple.
