Im upgrading my calipers with some dual pistons off of an 03 and the persons going to give me the rotors as well. Will they fit on a 95 or no? Im upgrading to 18 inch saleens in the spring when I do the brake upgrade so fitment inside the wheel wont be an issue. Just wondering if the mounting depth to the hub was different or anything like that. Im hoping they work because my right front rotors warped anyway...

They'll work perfectly. The hub assembly is the same from 94-04, just a different spindle for a wider track on 96-98, and then again from 99-04.

If your doing the dual piston calipers off the 03 V6s and GTs, youll need to do some minor clearancing on the caliper mounting "knuckles" on the spindle.

Once you go to bolt them on, youll see where its needed.

Is it true that on the passenger side Ill need an adapter to hook up to the stock brake fitting? Believe it was a weatherhead 7828 fitting?

Sorry to bring up an old old thread, but i plan on doing the same thing. I have some 03 PBR calipers to go on my 95 spindles, do I need to use the 03 rotors or can I reuse my 95 rotors? Thanks.

You need to use the 03 rotors.

just did this today!

used the calipers and rotors off an 03 cobra, and the steel braided lines and coarse threaded banjo bolts from StangSuspension.

at first i thought i needed adapters (see this thread) but it wound up that the lines are side-specific (just as the calipers and rotors are).

Each side has a diff size fitting.

I got two of the same size fittings for -3AN brake lines, and I had to get an adapter for one side, I want to say it was the drivers side.

If you use a mustang specific brake line setup there should be no issues.

PBR's to a FOX body....yes.

PBR's to a 94-95 maybe not...but if so..it cost me 1.37 at the auto parts store.

I've heard the Fox brake lines are something like 6" longer than the SN95 ones. When using a PBR caliper on a Fox, which line is better to use? Isn't there some grinding needed to use a Fox line on an SN95 caliper?

use the pbr calipers on a fox, you will need to use the pbr lines. also you can use the fox lines but there is alot of grinding to be done on them to make it work. you will need M10 to 3/16 line adapters. on the pass side you will have to cut off the existing flair and 7/16 nut and replace it with a 3/16 nut and reflare it. then just bolt it all up. i also used the 99-04 spindles and all on my project worked out great.

Unless they're the crossdrilled or slotted rotors, they're not side specific.
