04 Cobra??

on a stock tire? no it doesnt. A solid 12 second car that hooks will win every time on the street.

I'm not going to keep arguing with you on this. I know because I have owned 5 Fox Body Mustangs before my car now so I know first hand. I have also been wrenching on them for 20 years now so I know what they will do and won't.

I ran an 04 Cobra vert with just an intake I beleieve at the track. He went 12.4 on stock street tires... Needless to say I wouldn't be messing with that car on the street but I also don't have a HCI setup.

The Mach 1s you don;t hear about unless you pay attention to Mustang racing. Lots of Machs did well in Factory Stock, and a lot of those guys are going low 12s high 11s with simple bolt ons, gears and tires. I LOVE the Mach 1s. An all motor 4.6 car weighing a ton that will go 11s with bolt ons, tires and gears! Thats great!

I ran a 12.4 @ US41 in my '04 Coupe.. It was bone stock.. BONE STOCK!! Just over 2500 miles on it.

With the SPL X-Pipe, Cat Back, Tune, 18x10 rears with 295 KDW's, CAI & 2.76 Pulley.. I ran an 11.2 @ Indy.

Motors are definately not the same. Only thing they share besides the displacement is that the manual mach 1s have a foraged crank, the auto doesn't. The heads I think are the same. The Mach 1s share the same motor as the Marauder.

the way the cobra takes to mods is great, but since it is so easy to get such low times would you need a roll cage so you wont get hassled off the track after such mods?

Okay so youve owned 5 foxbody mustangs, thats nice. Ive only owned one and Ive had it since I was 17. Ill get video next time a cobra wants to have a try.

Speaking of which, the 04 mystic cobra that called me out on here, well he never showed up of course. He was "out of town".
